There is something totally kick @$$ about running moms. Yes, I may be a little biased. But it’s true.
Whether proving to yourself that you can finish a 5k or a marathon, qualify for Boston , or even qualifying for the Olympic trials, here’s to you running moms, for not letting motherhood be an excuse. For every time you lace up those sneakers in the wee hours of the morning before the family wakes up. For every finish line your crossed and then kept running to the car to make it back home before mommy was missed. For those who run behind a jog stroller or take rest breaks to nurse a baby…to those who proudly run aside their kid during their first tot trot or 5k…and every mom in between. You all inspire me.
And for you (or the running mom or running mom-to-be in your life), I have an awesome giveaway…
I’ve recently been in touch with TJ from Run U Mother. Run U Mother makes clothing for Moms that MOVE! Their philosophy is simple: to empower all u mothers to get moving and let the world, and your kids, know how powerful a mom you are. You may remember a certain someone rocking her Run U Mother tank at the Virginia Beach R & R half a few weeks ago, and getting her 15 minutes of quasi fame on the main page of the race website (OK I thought it was a big deal, ha). When I contacted TJ to thank her for creating a product with such an awesome message, she generously offered to do a giveaway on my blog.
So, one lucky reader of Run Faster Mommy will win a product of YOUR CHOICE from Run U Mother! (you can check out the goodies here). Everyone is welcome to enter, moms, moms to be, or anyone who has a special running mom in their life that they would like to win this giveaway for. But being such a kick booty giveaway, you have to do a little extra work:
-Tell us why you love being a running mom. Or why running moms kick butt. Or what being a running mom means to YOU. (you get the idea!) Post it as a comment here.
– THEN , copy that answer in an email to TJ at firstname.lastname@example.org . Put “Run Faster Mommy blog giveaway” in the subject line, then paste your answer in the body of the email along with your name.
