I feel your pain! I get all out of sorts when I don’t get my exercise fix! I’ve been having trouble scheduling it all lately and it is making me feel yucky! I think there would be more happy people if we could all go out and get our exercise fix!

New follower here. I feel exactly the same… if it’s been two days, I feel like a total slug. I love that we feel the urge to get out there, but I need to learn to go easy on myself too when I don’t make it out.

There is nothing like a good sweat session…some laborious breathing…and some aching legs(the good kind)!

I am right there w/ ya girl! RIGHT THERE! Triathlon will suit you just right…. two work outs a day! Yes TWO… doesn’t it sound decadent!?
Christy says
I totally get that way too. Especially if I miss one day of the 5 I usually spend at the gym. It totally affects me.

I seriously just got such a good giggle out of this one. It sounded much like a conversation hubs and I had last night. My knee has been hurting a bit but has started feeling better. I wanted to run 6 this morning and have 11 scheduled for Sunday. He did not agree with my miles this week. Thinking I needed to be resting more. I told him it’s not like I’m running a lot of miles this week. His response, “20 miles is still a lot.” Of course, I didn’t add that it’s actually 23. Funny how a year ago I never would have dreamed that 23 would be an easy week!

Ditto! Now that I am back in the “game” I hate missing workouts.

I’ve been finding that I find joy in pain! If a run gets hard and I feel tired, I smile and know that this struggle will only make the next run easier. And on that next run I’ll do the same. Eventually I’ll be awesome and on the cover of Runner’s World wearing shorty shorts and a sports bra. Okay, I went a little far there. But my love of pain feels like it pays off!

I had to laugh at the “only 9, but…” comment. I am def beginning to feel the enjoyment of workout out and running consistently. No turning back now!

I usually feel that “I need to get out there” anst. But, now, I have so much on my plate and I’m doing so much anyway, that the days off have become a real treat. Must be my age kicking in….
